It's official. I'm the new Product Manager for ColdFusion and Bolt. After a considerable amount of internal debate, I decided to step up and take the lead of the product I love so much. I don't mean to sound sappy, but I'm incredibly humbled that the rest of the ColdFusion team trusts me enough to fulfill this role. I'm honored to follow in the footsteps of people I admire.

I Got Hit By A Car

I'm not 100% sure when I wrote this entry as I vaugley remember actually writing it. I wrote it while recoving in a London hospital after being hit by a car. I guess I'm just posting it as record and a reminder. Always look both way when you're crossing the street.

I'm back home in RockVegas after attending the Adobe Tech Summit in New Delhi (more on that in a later post). Because of all the time lost in travel and spotty internet connections, I'm fighting to keep my head above a sea of emails. And No, the unread messages do not include any of the lists I'm on, those are honest-to-goodness, 'we needed a reply yesterday' emails. If you are one of those, I promise I'll get to you soon (by the end of the weekend at the latest).

Rachel and I just launched our wedding website at adamandrae.com. Apparently, that is the 'thing' to do. The date is rapidly approaching and all of the pieces are starting to fall into place. Luckily Rachel has been covering most of the details so I've been removed from a lot of that stress. But let me tell you, this wedding stuff... is not cheap. I knew I was going to marry Rachel the moment I laid eyes on her, and after a few months of lobbying, she felt the same.
